Two ways. Families pay a one-time $49 booking fee when they match with a new caregiver. Caregivers pay a 10% platform fee automatically deducted from each payout. That's it — no subscriptions, no hidden charges.
Yes. Your very first caregiver match has no booking fee — it's on us. We want you to experience CareMatch risk-free before you ever pay a cent.
Caregivers keep 90% of their hourly rate. A 10% platform fee is deducted automatically before each payout. Example: $25/hr × 20 hrs = $500 gross → you receive $450. Still 50%+ more than agency work.
The one-time $39 fee covers a national criminal record check, sex offender registry search, and identity verification through our screening partner. Caregivers pay this once and keep their Verified status as long as their account is in good standing.

For bookings longer than a week, caregivers are paid weekly. For shorter bookings, payout happens when the care is marked as completed. Payouts are processed via Stripe and typically arrive 2–3 business days.
